About Writadia
Free English writing practice for every level, made by an English teacher for students and teachers everywhere.
Writadia is a free place to practise writing in English, from your first short note at A1 to a C2 critical essay.
Why we built it
Writing is the skill learners practise least and worry about most. Speaking happens in class; reading and listening happen on phones and screens every day. Writing often waits for homework, and then the first question is always the same: What exactly do I write, and how?
Every task on Writadia answers that question in steps. You get a real situation, a clear task, a short plan, and a toolkit you open only when you need it: useful phrases, vocabulary and a model answer with notes that explain why it works.
For students
- Tasks for every CEFR level, from A1 to C2
- Reading-to-writing tasks that start with a short text
- IELTS, Cambridge and TOEFL exam practice in the real formats
- A writing sheet that saves your draft on your device, counts your words and times you
- A quick, rule-based check that spots common slips (it is not AI and it doesn't grade you)
For teachers
- Tasks that need no preparation and print cleanly as a student worksheet or a teacher copy with answers
- A classroom screen mode with a large timer for interactive whiteboards
- Multi-lesson writing projects, rubrics and correction codes
Who is behind it
Writadia is a Carpinus English and Berkay Gürgen project, created by an English teacher who works with learners from primary school to exam preparation. Every task, model answer and article is written by hand for this site.
